maranamaranam hi nirakaranam
karanakaranam hi nirakaranam
yadi chaika-nirantara sarva-shivam
gamanagamanam hi katham vadati

There’s no distinction between the living and the dead;
There’s no distinction between alike and different.
If there’s only the limitless One, all is Shiva.
How, then, could one speak of going or coming?

No existe distinción entre los vivos y los muertos;
No existe distinción entre parecidos y diferentes.
Si solo existe el Uno Ilimitado, todo es Shiva.
¿Cómo, entonces, podría uno hablar de ir o de venir?
